Location.
The Hotel Alga is located in the resort of Calella de Pallafrugell in the Costa Brava, Spain. The town square is 200 metres away, and there is a sandy beach within 500 metres.
Hotel Features.
A whitewashed resort-style property with views of the sea, the Hotel Alga has a landscaped swimming pool area with palm trees and flowering shrubs. There is also a terrace bar, and a television room.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. The half-board rate includes breakfast and either lunch or dinner. The restaurant specialises in seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, and menus for children and vegetarians are available.
There are several function rooms with space for up to 300 people on site, and events can be catered on request.

Getting there.

Getting around. The Costa Brava is well- served by public transport. It is possible to reach Barcelona by train from Girona, and there is a good network of buses. A car is recommended for exploring the rural areas of Catalonia, such as the Garratxa area.
