The County Hotel is located in Dalkeith, Scotland, seven miles from Edinburgh city centre. Dalkeith Country Park is 100 metres away, and the hotel is eight miles from Edinburgh Airport.

The County Hotel serves a complimentary full Scottish breakfast, and takes pride in its Battered Haddock, amongst other traditional dishes, in the County Restaurant. Getting there.
Airlink 100 operates express bus services to the city centre. Buses run every 10 minutes and depart from the bus station next to the terminal. An open-return pass costs 5 GBP. The N22 night bus runs between midnight and 4 a.m. From the city centre, Lothian bus numbers 3 and 49 run to Dalkeith, taking approximately 55 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to The County Hotel costs 15 GBP. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Edinburgh city and the Lothian region are served by a good bus network. Buses 3 and 49 from Dalkeith run to Edinburgh city centre in 55 minutes. There are hop-on, hop-off stops for city bus tours throughout central Edinburgh. The historic centre's cobbled streets are best explored by foot. Driving in the city centre is not recommended for visitors, due to the complicated one-way systems.
